Is it good to make a career in trading?

"Trading will be triggering for most but it will also help you begin to understand yourself and teach you how to deal with your emotions. It's not an easy process but it's 100% necessary to succeed in this game"

Build your trading career on these pillars: Technical analysis, trade plan, risk management, and psychology.

Rome wasn’t built in a day.

It takes time to develop the skills you need as a trader. So many people think that the courses they watch are enough. They are not.

There are other pieces within trading that no course can teach you and that’s the psychological and emotional pieces.

Trading will be triggering for most but it will also help you begin to understand yourself and teach you how to deal with your emotions. It's not an easy process but it's 100% necessary to succeed in this game.

Some facts about trading.

95% lose. 5% make money. You have to do the opposite of what 95% do. For most it's not an edge problem, it’s a psychology problem. Work on yourself. Meditate, read, journal, work out, eat well, prioritize sleep, and disengage from screens whenever possible. These can be all pieces to help you get more disciplined but it doesn’t work unless you do. There has to be willpower there, you have to want this bad enough to change. If you want this bad enough, you will find a way, if not, you will find an excuse.

It’s not about being right 100% of the time.

You will not be right in this career path every time. Stop feeding into your ego thinking you will be. Trading runs on probabilities, kind of like weather, a 50% chance of rain does not mean it will rain, it means there is a good chance it will. Trading is about following your process, that’s it. Winning comes from long-term consistency.

Nothing will change unless you do.

If what you are doing is not working, start making changes. Yourself, your discipline, your edge, your trade plan, work on all of it. Don’t let another year go by without seeing drastic improvements. You are the architect of your own life. Being wealthy is hard. Being broke is hard. Choose your hard and own it.

Anything you put time into will get better. There is no one-shoe-fits-all solution. You have to grind hard and find a way that works in your brain.

But it’s been done before by others, that's why you know you can do it too!
