I have been in this industry for an extremely long time and these would be my top 3 tips for traders:
I sound like a broken record saying this, stop giving yourself a time limit. Whether it’s 6 months to be profitable or 1 year or 3 years or whatever. Just keep progressing every day and when you look up, you will be there. There are only 2 people in trading, those who make it and those who quit.
Stop switching strategies because you see someone is profitable with it on social media. I will give you 2 strategy switches over your journey maximum. For a long time, I have never changed my strategy. Tweaked it for sure and added subtracted things but never went from one style to another style completely.
Look at people online for motivation but don’t let people make you feel worse about yourself. That is also the reason I don’t follow anyone here on Quora.
